The cookies we set

NEXT_LOCALE stores which language you are reading, so the site opens in it next time. gr_ar stores nothing but a yes or a no: whether the language switcher should offer Arabic, worked out from the country your request came from, and it expires after a day. Neither holds an identifier, neither is shared with anyone, and both are set on this domain only.

What we use, and what we do not

No advertising or social pixels, no session recording and no cross site tracking. The one thing that sets cookies of its own is Google Maps: the Local SEO service page can show a live map, and Google sets its own cookies when it loads. It stays switched off until you allow it, and the page draws its own map instead.

Two measurements run for everyone and neither uses a cookie: Vercel Web Analytics counts page views, and Vercel Speed Insights records how quickly pages load. Both work from the request itself rather than from anything stored on your device. Google Analytics is the one that does use cookies, _ga and _ga_2TQDEJ0F18, and it is off until you allow it. Say no, or ignore the bar, and its script is never loaded at all.

Why there is no consent banner

Consent is required for anything that stores information on your device or reads it back, and for anything that tracks or profiles you. The two cookies that remember your language and which languages to offer are strictly functional and need no permission. The Vercel page view and speed measurement stores nothing on your device at all. Google Analytics and the Google Maps embed both do, which is why there is a choice at the bottom of the screen on your first visit, with a separate switch for each. Both are off until you turn them on. Reject Analytics and its cookies are cleared as well as blocked.

Clearing it

Clear cookies for this site in your browser settings and it is gone. The site keeps working; it will simply ask which language you want again.
