About the project
Residential compliance in New York is not one rule, it is four agencies with four registration cycles, four sets of deadlines and four ways to fall out of good standing. The audience is split too: an owner with one building wants to know whether they are exposed, while a managing agent or an attorney arrives already knowing the vocabulary and wanting to see whether this practice handles their specific filing. A single page of service copy serves neither of them.
- A page per agency, so HPD, DHCR, CONH and MDL each answer their own questions
- Compliance review as the single enquiry route, rather than a generic contact form
- Separate paths for owners, managing agents, attorneys and developers
- Founder credentials carried on the page, because this is a licensed practice
- Built to sit alongside the other New York properties in the same group
How we approached it
Split the audience before splitting the content
Four buyer types read this site and they are not reading for the same thing. An owner is checking exposure, an attorney is checking competence on one filing. The structure follows that split, so neither has to read past the other's content to find their own.
Name the agencies, because that is what people search
Nobody searches for residential compliance management. They search a registration they have missed or a notice they have received, which means the agency acronyms are the demand. Each one gets a page that answers it rather than a bullet in a list.
One enquiry that is worth filling in
A compliance review is a specific offer with a specific output, which converts better than a contact form because the visitor knows what arrives. It also qualifies: somebody who describes their building has told you most of what you need to price the work.
Growna has built over ten sites for our real estate and compliance work in New York. Every project on point, delivered fast, and clearly thought through from start to finish.
